Cassingle released around the same time as the 'Golden Age' tape, with two short pop songs on it. Both songs were remixed for the compilation tape - and Small Trades was adopted into a band version by Post War to help pad out the initial set.

Renee Lang did backing vocals for the song 'Small Trades' but thanks to me being shit at mixing and not planning for tape, she's nearly inaudible. Sorry Renee. I played a live show in a driveway, for the first Weightless show, where I met some incredible people who have stuck in my life since. Nick Godfrey (of No Action) played bass on a few songs at this show.

The beats and keyboard sounds on this tape (and a lot of others) were made on this toy keyboard, a rinky-dinky Yamaha PS-R keyboard. It was incredibly reliable and lasted me from the first Enthusiasm Police EP to the year 2020 - before the circuitry finally fell out the hole in the back. So long old friend.

The release was done on recycled tapes, then a little cardboard sleeve with an illustrated paper cover. It looks pretty worn down years later.
